THE GAMBOREE! (2016)

G-amboree is an event series where the Mercedes G class and the legendary Puch G owners meet together. The event is in summer in Hungary (Europe). This is always a special feeling for the participants. Because the G has become a legendary cult symbol already.

This is a great event to meet other G owners of Europe. Four days of relaxing, driving, eating, meeting. You can try yourself and your G on real offroad tracks.

No matter, how old or new. W460, W461, W463 and AMG's are also welcome.

I was commissioned to design the identity of the following G-amboree. The form of G class is absolutely timeless and has a very strong character. My concept was based on the strong and simple character of G. The aim was to create the authentic communication and establish the visual atmosphere of this passion.

Highways and dirt roads are for the same purpose. A road always leads to the same destination no matter if it’s bright sunshine or heavy snowfall. Any vehicle can take you to the same place. It’s the feeling that makes each journey uplifting and special. It’s a feeling like no other when not only roads but common passions bring us together. This is the reason why we organized the first Mercedes G-amboree in Hungary in 2015, and that’s why we organize it again in 2016. A place where friends are waiting for you, no matter where you come from. This is a place to meet and share experiences. Mercedes G is the feeling. The difference between usual and extraordinary, happening and adventure - the difference between two roads.

The Mercedes G-amboree is an inspiring and entertaining event for those who dare to swim against

the tide, who know that there is not only one solution. For the curious and open-minded, yet

confident in their decisions. Let’s meet in Hungary between June 30 and July 3, 2016 to create a true

community from the friends of the G-Class.
